Dick Evans is Executive Vice President of Alcan Aluminium Limited and President of the Alcan Fabrication Europe Group, one of Alcan's four business groups. He is also responsible for the overall integration process between Alcan and Algroup following the October 2000 merger. He joined Alcan Aluminium Limited in January 1997, moving to Alcan's European headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland in October 2000. He was formerly Corporate Vice President with Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. Alcan is the world's second largest aluminum company, selling to the packaging, transportation, and construction industries. Evans is a past chairman of the U.S. Aluminum Association's Board of Directors (1997-1999) and now serves as Vice Chairman of the European Aluminium Association.
